As an authorized distributor & service center for Venco Venturo electric and hydaulic cranes we are happy join with Venturo as they announce the first of its kind, work van Crane. This 1000 lb./750lb. Capacity full extension crane prototyped for the Ford Transit 250 Mid-Roof features a 6 ft. horizontally articulated jib boom to reach deep within the van . The impressive Crane allows safe and productive material handling without need for a forklift or heavy, expensive lift gate.
The Venturo Crane utilizes a unique dual floor & ceilng mounted mast that integrates with the van framing structure to insure maximum structural integrity. The operation of the crane utilizes roller bearings that allow the operator to guide the load easily in and out of the van. A unique rotation control feature utilizes a hand lever that operates a cable controlled multi-position rotation lock. The rotation lock enables the operator to lock the crane in various positions. The key feature adds an additional safeguard for the operator as the load is being loaded and unloaded.
Standard equipment includes a 12V DC, planetary gear, 1.3 HP winch; 12ft. Corded controller and a master disconnect switch kit. For additional vehicle stability, an inexpensive, manual crank down jackleg is available that installs quickly and easily into the vehicle’s standard Class III receiver hitch.
It isn’t always easy to be a consumer. It is no secret that the simplicity of purchasing is in fact easier than being an owner/operator. Is a title required for my trailer? How do I know if I need a State Safety Inspection, or a DOT inspection, or no inspection on my trailer? Do I have the proper size truck necessary to tow the trailer I need? What is the relationship between Gross Vehicle Weight Rating on my trailer to Gross Front & Rear Axle Weight Rating on my truck? Can I get my trailer “down rated” by the Manufacturer? Can I get my trailer up-rated by the State. Does the Highway Patrol qualify compliance by the Manufacturer GVWR or the State registration certificate? It is very confusing at best. Don’t get caught being the one “making” news. Laws are constantly changing not only in Texas but on a national level as well. And guess what? They both expect us the consumer/operator/owner to be responsible for knowing the laws! Where can you find them? Call us at 1-800-366-3395.
